Wow! That is awesome! Such a beautiful song and lyrics. Thank you Tim! And Merry Christmas.
“Rejoice, O people of Zion!
Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem!
Look, your king is coming to you.
He is righteous and victorious,
yet He is humble, riding on a donkey—
riding on a donkey’s colt.”
(Zechariah 9:9)
It’s a really good one. I also like her Oh, Holy Night very much.
She sings most (every?) years as part of a televised Carols by Candlelight on Christmas eve.
I don’t usually watch it because of the domination of songs about reindeers, snowmen, jingling bells and roasting chestnuts – none of which have anything to do with Jesus, and have no relevance to a place where Christmas temperatures are usually in the mid 30s (Celsius) or higher.
Silvie Paladino is the one bright spot on the program, and I’ve been blessed to “accidentally” stumble across her performance on a number of occasions.
“To be able to impart my heart and what I know of Jesus to people who haven’t had the opportunity to hear about Him, particularly in something so big, that is the most incredible gift to me, more so than anything else. I get to hear what people take from my songs that touched them and got them thinking about our Lord.

This is my favorite too. I cry almost every time.
I describe it as a tears and goose bumps song. Impossible to hear without an emotional reaction.
